Fae Staff

This Fae Staff design started with a commission from a Labyrinth Ball attendee who asked for a very specific style of staff to compliment her Fae costume. She wanted it to be a Fae-like staff with a hook and a glowing orb. I immediately loved the concept and started the design process. The core of this staff is made with PVC. The curve is made by using hot sand and boiling water. The outer shell is made with layers of EVA foam, sculpted using a dremel. The tip is equipped with a glow in the dark orb, which is illuminated with UV light, by pressing a button on the shaft. The option of a latching or a momentary push button are available upon ordering. The whole staff is completed with a shiny lacquer finish. The bottom of the staff is equipped with a rubber stopper to prevent it from sliding on the floor.
